Analysis of consumer prices for conventional and organic diary products

The aim of this paper is to determine the trend and prediction of prices for yogurt and milk in conventional and organic quality. Due to constant changes in prices over time is to assess the suitability of the method of analysis of time series of average-month consumer prices to other price predictions. Monitored the prices of the products offered by the three retail chains continuously during 2008 and 2009 in both conventional and organic quality in own brand (private label). The used linear and quadratic time series analysis method and were detected point and interval estimates. Unlike other reporting products are not linear or quadratic method suitable for predicting the price trend for white organic yogurt. In comparison with the later development of real prediction of other products were evaluated as good.
